Le Mat is located a stone's throw from the main avenue in central Gothenburg. The airport bus, central station, the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Universeum science centre and Liseberg amusement park are all found within walking distance.

The modern rooms share bath and shower areas, but several rooms have an in-room sink. All rooms have a flat-screen TV. Smaller meetings can be accommodated as the breakfast room is easily refurbished to a meeting room. Free wifi is available throughout the venue.

Breakfast is served daily and consists of locally produced and fairtrade labelled products.

The reception is staffed around the clock and parking is found in the neighbourhood.
